Regardless of the changes occurring in health care, surgeons will surely continue to play a leading role in the practice of medicine.

That is what the Fellows Leadership Society (FLS) is about – ensuring that future surgeons maintain their leadership role. Individual members of the Society further that cause through personal giving. Collectively those gifts give the FLS the ability and strength to fulfill its mission:

To provide financial support for projects important to the future of surgery
To encourage leadership and loyalty to the College among its Fellows and friends

Since its founding in 1987, the Fellows of the College have contributed more than $25 million to the American College of Surgeons Foundation, income that has allowed the College to award millions of dollars in support of education and research.
