SRGS: Selected Readings in General Sugery

Objectives & Accreditation

The American Board of Surgery lists Selected Readings in General Surgery (SRGS) as an accredited CME resource for surgeons enrolled in its Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Successful completion of the SRGS CME program fulfills the MOC's Part II requirements that focus on lifelong learning and self-assessment.

Accreditation

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CME Credit

The American College of Surgeons designates this enduring material for a maximum of 80 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ annually; 10 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ per issue. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AMA PRA credit may only be claimed by, and awarded to, physicians, defined by the AMA as individuals who have completed an allopathic (MD), osteopathic (DO), or an equivalent medical degree from another country. If you need a nonphysician certificate of completion, please contact lfeilen@facs.org.
